Vowel Sounds
English has short vowels and long vowels:
Short Vowel Sounds:

Consonant Sounds
Voiced vs. Voiceless Consonants:
Voiced: Your vocal cords vibrate (b, d, g, v, z)
Voiceless: No vibration (p, t, k, f, s)
