What are Prepositions?
Prepositions are small words that show the relationship between a noun/pronoun and other words. They tell us about time, place, direction, or manner.
Prepositions of Place

Prepositions of Time

Prepositions of Direction
- to - I go to school.
- from - I come from India.
- into - She walked into the room.
- out of - He ran out of the house.
- towards - Walk towards me.
- through - Go through the tunnel.
- across - Walk across the street.
Remember: In, On, At
- IN = inside/larger areas (in the room, in India, in January)
- ON = surfaces/days (on the table, on Monday)
- AT = specific points (at home, at 5pm, at the corner)
